Supplementing DTX™ to Early-lactation Holstein Cows Challenged by Mycotoxins Improves Pregnancy Rate
Roth, L. D., et. al. 2024. J. Dairy Sci. 107(Suppl 1):426. (Abstr.) Feeding mycotoxin-contaminated diets to early-lactation dairy cows often impairs reproductive success. Dairy producers and nutritionists have been supplementing the DTX™ product to lactating dairy...
Supplementing Select DTX™ to Early-Lactation Holstein Cows Challenged by Mycotoxins Improves Milk Production
Roth, L. D., et. al. 2024. J. Dairy Sci. 107(Suppl 1):426. (Abstr.) Previous research studies have documented the reduced milk production associated with feeding mycotoxin-contaminated diets. Recent research indicates that commonly used mycotoxin protection products...
Comparisons of Various Products for Binding Efficiency of Mycotoxins, Amino Acids, and Vitamins
Recent research highlights the variable effectiveness of mycotoxin binders (MTBs), finding activated carbon most effective for adsorbing mycotoxins like aflatoxin. However, MTBs also bind amino acids and vitamins, reducing their availability in animal diets and requiring ration adjustments.

Learn More About DTX™ Concentrate
DTX™ Concentrate • BioCycle® Concentrate • BioCycle® Plus Concentrate are available direct from Agrarian Solutions.
Is DTX™ a mycotoxin binder?
No. DTX™ is not a binder. It’s a direct-fed microbial (DFM) solution that works by training the animal’s digestive system to naturally reject mycotoxins at the cellular level using the efflux transporter protein system.
How does DTX™ work?
DTX utilizes cell wall-deficient probiotics that both digest certain mycotoxins and enhance the animal’s gut lining to actively expel toxins, rather than trap them like traditional binders.
What species is DTX™ safe for?
DTX is used in poultry, swine, dairy, and beef cattle. Consult your nutritionist for species-specific feeding rates and programs.
What is LivOx?
LivOx is a proprietary plant-based blend found in select Agrarian Solutions products. It contains rosemary, naringin, and curcumin—botanicals that support antioxidant and liver health.
Is DTX™ available in premix or concentrate form?
Yes, we offer different formats depending on your mixing setup.
Do I still need DTX™ if my feed tests clean?
Yes. Many mycotoxin exposures are subclinical and feed tests only detect what’s in the sample—not the entire ration or feed over time. DTX™ provides proactive protection.
Can I use DTX™ only when I see problems?
DTX™ is most effective when used preventatively. Waiting until symptoms appear means damage may already be done.
Are Agrarian Solutions products safe for organic operations?
Some products are OMRI-listed or can be included in organic feeding programs. Please check each product’s label or consult your distributor.
Are your probiotics spore-forming?
No. Our probiotics are cell wall-deficient bacteria (CWDB), a rare and specialized form with unique benefits for gut and immune function.
Can I mix Agrarian Solutions products with antibiotics or other feed additives?
In most cases, yes. Our products are compatible with common feed additives, but consult your vet or nutritionist for specifics.
